Invisibility Cloak

Hey what do you know? Invisibility cloak such as the one described in the Harry Potter books by Rowling may not be such a far stretch from reality afterall.

"Researchers at the University of California in Berkeley have developed a material that can bend light around 3D objects making them "disappear"

Sounds awesome doesn't it? Now if kids are sneaking out or undercover spies need to infiltrate somewhere, all they need is to slip on a cloack made out of that material and voilĂ !! They're in! (or out, as in the case of kids sneaking out)

The Catch?

"The materials do not occur naturally but have been created on a nano scale, measured in billionths of a metre."

I say give it another 10 years or so.
